Overview

Friendzyme is a scheduling app to help friend groups to find the best time to meet. In this project, I seek to improve the mobile user experience design of a calendar scheduling system and live information updates in iOS. Read more on my design process in this published case study.

Main Challenges

  • Conduct customer interviews and user testing to validate value proposition and key features.
  • Explore and utilize full Figma functionality for designing and prototyping the Friendzyme app.

My Contributions

  • Designed and prototyped two key features of Friendzyme - mutual time finder and Live Activities (Lock Screen and Dynamic Island) from scratch in three months.
  • Documented clearly the user experience interviews and testing processes, consented recordings are used for project purpose.

Outcome & Impact

I had so much fun working on this design project for the past four months! It was fulfilling to see my ideas being validated through user research, interviews and finally testing. Professor Waugh gave me informative feedback that prompted me to think critically on my solutions and refine my designs.
