Most recently, I built and deployed AI analytics tools for business teams at Pluang, an Indonesian multi-asset investment app. I am good at bridging engineers and executives on technical projects. I grew up in Malaysia and previously studied at NUS.

I have strong interests in writing, design and speaking. Recently, mentorship and lifting.

Some things I hold myself to:

  • Keep a high bar for my own work
  • Do what I said I would do
  • Move fast and expect to fail, then iterate
  • Contribute something back

QueryGPT - Deployed an AI data analyst that answers routine questions for the whole company. Curating the semantic and context layers behind the agent is a team effort. I learned (painfully) to not underestimate evals.

90% of business users cannot write SQL queries, creating a data bottleneck for even the simplest requests. They need faster, self-service access to insights.

Goals

  • Reduce time-to-insight from hours to minutes.
  • Enable real-time, 24/7 conversational data analysis through Slack.

Events AI Pipeline - Shipped an internal analytics tool that generates events directly from PRDs and Figma designs. Thanks to Claude, building was easy. Scoping the problem was harder, and so was getting the product managers to use it well.

For every new feature, a PM works back and forth with the Figma design to tag each interaction — page landing, button click, tab switch.

Cost of poor events

  • Expensive time cost. An end-to-end workflow takes 10 days per feature.
  • Low QA accuracy. Only ~60% of events pass QA before monthly release.

The Good Hack - Organized a hackathon with GoodHub SEA to tackle the problems of an ageing society. Caregivers above 60 were vibe-coding alongside student engineers.

Note Buddy - Helped shape the early POC of SingHealth’s clinical digital scribe tool. Voice models were not that advanced then, so the hard part was separating speakers who talked over each other and switched languages mid-sentence. Note Buddy is now used by thousands of healthcare staff in Singapore.

Container Load Optimizer - Solved a supply chain optimization problem in Python at Procter & Gamble. Learned how to read math papers and turn them into code. Realized I prefer a career with more human interaction (not computers), and that good documentation matters.

Student Exchange - Spent half a year living in a culture (and vibe) completely different from Asia's. Travelled around the US and watched my first live NBA game.

Resident Assistant - My fondest memories of college, and my first home in Singapore. Organized events that brought local and international students together.
